Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GreenCube ("GreenCube", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the GreenCube desktop application and related websites. GreenCube is operated by Edunexis SL (CIF B01816446).

1. GreenCube is local-first

GreenCube is designed to run primarily on your device. Local chats, memories, settings, downloaded models, and connected-account tokens are stored on your device unless a feature clearly requires an external service.

If you enable full local mode, GreenCube is intended to avoid cloud model providers and online connected-service actions while that mode is active.

2. Information GreenCube may process

Depending on the features you use, GreenCube may process:

• Chat messages, prompts, and assistant responses.
• Local memories you create or allow GreenCube to save.
• Files or notes you choose to connect, import, summarize, or use.
• Settings, model choices, and provider connection status.
• Your email address and purchase status, so we can confirm your licence when you sign in.
• Support information you send to us, such as your email address, messages, screenshots, diagnostics, or bug reports.

3. Signing in with Google or Microsoft

GreenCube asks you to sign in once so it can confirm your purchase. You can use a Google account or a Microsoft account (which covers Hotmail, Outlook and Live).

In both cases GreenCube requests the minimum needed to identify you:

• Your email address, which is how your purchase is matched to you.
• Basic profile information, so the app can show which account is signed in.

GreenCube does not request access to your mail, your calendar, your files or your contacts, and cannot read them. Signing in does not give GreenCube permission to act on your behalf anywhere.

GreenCube does not use this data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not transfer it to data brokers or advertising platforms. It is used only to confirm that you bought GreenCube, and your purchase status is then stored on your own computer so the app keeps working offline.

4. Cloud model providers

If you connect a ChatGPT/OpenAI API key or Claude/Anthropic API key, GreenCube may send the prompt, selected conversation context, and relevant local context needed to answer your request to that provider when that provider is selected. Your use of those providers is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

GreenCube does not use your ChatGPT or Claude consumer subscription. These integrations use API keys you provide.

5. When GreenCube uses the internet

The current version of GreenCube does not connect to Google, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Slack, Notion or similar services, and your chats are never sent anywhere. GreenCube contacts the internet for three things only: to sign you in and confirm your purchase, to download the AI models you choose, and to check for updates. If connected services are offered in a future version they will be opt-in, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

6. How information is stored

GreenCube stores local app data on your device. This may include chat history, memories you have written, settings, and downloaded models. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and operating-system account.

7. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and improve GreenCube's user-facing features.
• Connect to services you explicitly authorize.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Protect GreenCube and its users from abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

8. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when necessary to provide features you request, comply with law, handle security or abuse, or operate our business with service providers who process information on our behalf.

9. Data retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, disconnect a provider, uninstall the app, or use GreenCube controls to clear memories or conversations. You can revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings at any time.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and GreenCube cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

GreenCube is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

12. International users

GreenCube may be used from different countries. If you contact us, sign in, or download models, that information may be processed in countries other than where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how GreenCube uses connected-account data, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent before using data in a new way.
